The 3rd Kobayashi Foundation Award

Guidelines for Applicants

1. Purpose
Kobayashi Foundation Award will be given to the outstanding researchers who made remarkable social contributions in the field of cancer chemotherapy in Asian countries other than Japan.

2. How to Apply
Download the application form from the website of Kobayashi Foundation for Cancer Research (Kobayashi Foundation, http://kficc.or.jp/) or the website of the Asian Clinical Oncology Society (ACOS, http://www.asia-acos.org/) or the 11th International Conference of the Asian Clinical Oncology Society (11th ACOS, http://www.acos2014.org/) and fill out the form in English. The information of Kobayashi Foundation Award is also available on the website of ACOS Office (website address will be announced).

3. Application Period
From August 1st to October 31st, 2013

4. Selection Process
Submitted application forms will be evaluated by the recommender selected from each country. The final award winners will be selected by members of the selection committee composed of cancer chemotherapy experts of Kobayashi Foundation.

5. Award and Prize
The award will be given to two researchers selected from all applicants.
(Prize money： one million yen, Total： two million yen)

6. Result Announcement
The result will be announced on the website of the 11th ACOS and Kobayashi Foundation in early February, 2014. Also the result will be given to the applicants individually.

7. Award Ceremony
The award winners will be announced and give a special lecture at the 11th ACOS, which will be held at Taipei International Convention Center in Taipei, Taiwan from May 2nd- 4th 2014.
